lululemon athletica: Mall of America

The BKA retail team worked closely with lululemon’s store design group to develop a sculptural storefront design inspired by the lotus flower. The undulating “leaf” forms create a canopy to the store entrance while seamlessly integrating a dynamic window display.  A variety of materials and methods, including bent luan plywood, sculpted modeling foam, and bespoke mosaic tile, were utilized to execute this stand out storefront, which was awarded the Storefront/Exterior Award by the Association of Retail Environments.
